Why Novella Spring Garden?
Writing a story is like a garden: tend to it a little bit every day and watch it grow! This event is for writers who want a slower paced writing challenge centered on reconnecting with your craft & connecting with your community - one word at a time!
🌱 The goal of the event is simple: write a novella during spring and (optional) find readers and hype while your draft, using our dedicated hashtags on social media!🌱 Write 330 words every day during spring, or write as many words as you want until you finish your novella! You may write more than one novella if you wish! You don't have to start a new project for this event, if you want to finish your current novella WIP that's totally fine!🌱 This event is welcome to all new and returning writers and readers over the age of 18. This event is free to participate in and we will never ask you for your personal information. Any sort of harassment, bullying or discrimination from any participants will not be tolerated, please be kind to each other. Please do not submit any books that go against itchio's TOS, contain any illegal content, and do not use AI in your submissions.🌱 At the end of the event, we will be making an itchio bundle with some of the novellas written during this event, if you wrote a novella during this event, you are welcome to join the bundle!🌱 If you have any questions please don't hesitate
